Her Interview
Ten minutes with Orendrea
01What do you attribute your success to?
I stopped second-guessing myself. I knew I was capable but would second-guess, so initially didn't go for big roles. I stepped out on faith and applied, and amazed myself. I used challenges and inequities as learning tools.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Preparation and investigation. Do your homework on the company and people who work there via LinkedIn, including former employees. Ask questions about culture before interviews. Network and stay in touch with contacts. Be qualified and build relationships. Don't be afraid to ask to be considered if a position opens up later.
