About Ornella
I've been running my own business for about 8 years now, and it all started when I became passionate about lash extensions. I saw that everyone in the lash industry was doing lashes in 3-4 hours, which was overwhelming for clients, so I created a technique where you can do lashes in just one hour. This innovation helped me become one of the high-ticket lash artists in Florida. I also created my own line of products and was voted as the Best Lash Studio Miami in 2025 by one of the Florida magazines. I taught classes with this technique in Latin America and here in the United States. As my reputation grew, clients who were injectors and med spa owners around the United States would come to see how I was doing lashes, and they started asking me to take care of their marketing because I was doing so well. My marketing strategy focuses on creating leads and developing scripts so clients can actually sell and create confidence with their customers. In the beauty industry, people don't just buy your service, they buy who you are and how confident they feel with you. That's what I put into my strategy for my clients. As word started to spread, I converted more of my business into marketing than being only a lash artist. What makes me successful is something like a superpower I have in how to sell high tickets and how to communicate with the people who are the correct clients I want to attract. I don't work massively with many clients. I prefer to focus on doing something really good that I'm good at.

Ten minutes with Ornella
01What do you attribute your success to?
It's kind of complicated because sometimes it's difficult to look inside yourself all the time. A lot of people tell me I'm so successful doing this, that I'm the one, and for me, it's like a superpower that I have. I learned a lot around my journey, making a lot of mistakes along the way. The only thing I can say is I have a superpower in how to sell high tickets and how to communicate with the people who are the correct clients I want to attract. I don't work massively with many clients. I prefer to focus on doing something really good that I'm good at, and that's it.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice is always to focus on your goals, not only what you see in the digital world. You have to be really focused on what is your goal that you want to achieve. Don't compare yourself with others all the time. I see a challenge in the beauty industry where people are focused only on being successful on Instagram and showing a life that other people can't achieve, and that gives a lot of anxiety to this world. My advice is just focus on your goal, what you want to achieve, and don't try to look at everything that is around because there's so much information right now. Ignore the noise that's around it.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The challenge I'm observing in the beauty industry is that people are focused only on being successful on Instagram and showing a life that other people can achieve, and that gives a lot of anxiety to this world. There's so much information right now, and people are trying to look at everything around them instead of focusing on their own goals. There's a lot of pressure now since many people think they can be influencers or that it's easy, but for successful people, there's a lot of work that goes into it and a lot of time that you put into it.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most valuable thing for me is always being myself, not trying to be something that I'm not, or trying to sell to people something that I'm not. I don't want to disconnect with my real personality. That's the most valuable thing for me. It's important that people connect with your personality, but also connect with the service that you are providing and your knowledge.
