About Pafoua
My career in healthcare spans over 13 years, beginning with an associate's degree in medical office work. I built my foundation working frontline with healthcare insurance, then advanced to become a health unit coordinator supporting nurses and surgeons in specialty clinics. For 7 years, I worked in surgical services, eventually becoming a senior administrative assistant in post-anesthesia recovery. After having my twins, I took a position as office administrator at a church where the nurse director's husband was a reverend, helping with Sunday projects and bulletins while receiving free daycare. I then joined the University of Minnesota as a senior executive assistant supporting a medical affairs doctor. Currently, I serve as Executive Assistant at ECG Consulting Firm, where I support business development VP Ty Cook and CIO Nate McCarthy. I'm particularly proud that many of the professionals I've supported have advanced to VP positions at Siemen Health Carriers. My expertise centers on relationship building, communication, and operational management. In my day-to-day role, I manage heavy partner calendars, ensure flexible lifestyles for executives, handle firm subscriptions, and am currently training on co-pilot and AI tools that our firm is introducing. I think 10 days ahead, work closely with my partners and admin manager, and am always available to help and support everyone. Communication is very important to me, and I'm energetic both in my professional role and in my outside community, including helping at my church.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my family. They have been the foundation that has supported me throughout my career journey, from starting at an entry-level position to earning my MBA and advancing to my current executive assistant role. The people around me, including my family, have pushed me to continue my education and grow professionally. My family is what drives me and keeps me motivated in everything I do.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've ever received came from my nursing director, who always told me: God first, family, and then career. That is my motivation to continue, and that is where everything starts. This advice has shaped how I prioritize my life and approach my work, keeping me grounded in what truly matters while building my professional success.
