Page Atcheson is a climate philanthropy professional based in Montana. She began climate work in 2010 or 2011 and has focused on climate advocacy and policy throughout her career, with the philanthropic aspects becoming central around 2020. Atcheson works at the 1.5 Climate Donor Collaborative, where she connects with organizations across the country leading projects on renewable energy, natural climate solutions, and electing leaders committed to clean energy. Previously, she served as executive director of an organization that trained young people to advocate for climate policy, empowering leaders who continue impactful work nationwide. She earned a BS in environmental studies from the University of Vermont, designing her own major centered on community-led solutions to the climate crisis, and completed non-profit Executive Leadership Institute training through the University of Washington Evans School of Public Policy and Governance. Atcheson was recognized as a GRIST50 leader. She attributes her success to mentors including family, professors, and colleagues who have inspired her, and she values justice, fairness, honesty, integrity, and ensuring access to a healthy environment and livable climate for all.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Bring passion and drive that's authentic, be self-starters, and think creatively about how to solve problems. Figure out what lights your fire and pursue that actively, not waiting for things to come to you, but thinking about where you can make a difference.
