What do you attribute your success to?
I would say working hard, but giving yourself grace. You can't solve all the problems in one day, but if you continue to just get 1% better, it's just going to continue to compound. Continue learning, continue focusing on educating yourself, helping clients, and just the little things are all going to compound to the overall. So, you know, again, focusing on the long term, give yourself grace, and just one thing at a time, and continue to get better every day.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say connect with other women in the industry. I think it's super important. I'm in a group with other women in the industry, and we talk through problems, we talk through wins, and we celebrate when we have success, and we also brainstorm when we don't have success, and what can we be doing better. Having that power behind you and connecting with other women who are experiencing the same things, or maybe they've already gone through it, has really helped. It gives you confidence, as well as you're not alone. There's other women who've gone through the same thing, and there's a power to that. So, that's what I would say has been super helpful, and I would encourage anyone to network and connect with other women in the same industry.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Opportunities, I would say, is there's so many people that are just looking for help, and they're not necessarily knowing where to start. Just trying to educate and be a resource for as many people as I can be. There's so many opportunities for educating people in this world, and this wealth transfer that's going to happen further on, and making sure that people have solid financial plans. The pain point is people using AI, like ChatGPT, to try and solve their problems rather than coming to an individual who has the designation to help them. You can ask ChatGPT all of these questions that, really, you probably should be asking a financial advisor, but maybe you don't know if the advisor's the right fit for you, or things like that. So, they kind of go hand in hand.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity is really important. We want to be really honest. Sometimes having hard conversations is just necessary, a part of the world that I'm in. My husband is always very honest, and he's always been, and that was one of the big things I loved about him, and that's just continued to extend into my career. Making sure everything I do is with integrity, and again, that's being that fiduciary, always in the best interest, wanting to be honest and even have those hard conversations. It's really important to me and the values, and that's why I love what I do and where I'm at.
