About Pallavi
I started my career at Accenture after engineering in electronics and communication. I worked there for about three years, moving into data analytics and automation around 2017-2018. I pursued a Master's in Management Information Systems at UIC and later an MBA. I've worked at Vistix and Capgemini, focusing on product management, AI initiatives like chatbots and contract analysis tools. Currently, I'm developing side projects including Insight Loop and Promptly while seeking a full-time PM role.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Pallavi
01What do you attribute your success to?
I've been very naive and spoken in rooms where people might say I shouldn't have, but I've always shared my thoughts. My parents taught me to share thoughts out loud. I'm honest with my opinions and good at taking feedback if it makes logical sense.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
From Christina about showcasing side projects as a founder rather than underselling them. This pushed me to see myself as a founder and changed how people perceive me and the help I receive.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be more bold. Don't think you're not enough. Whatever you're interested in, ask questions. Don't get discouraged if not answered back; let it motivate you to ask even more. Never hesitate in asking questions. Be more curious.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Everyone wants to become more AI-forward but few understand the infrastructure-level changes needed. Most companies, especially SMBs, do not understand the basics. Visa issues for immigrants.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Helping people, collaboration, and honesty. I enjoy working with teams and learning from others' perspectives. Honesty has brought me where I am today.
