About Pamela

Pamela Booker is a consultant and entrepreneur with 17 years of experience. She founded and led the natural hair care company Coils by Nature for 15 years, securing retail placement in Target, Walmart, and grocery chains while also consulting other entrepreneurs on scaling their businesses. After closing the company in 2024, she transitioned to full-time consulting focused on e-commerce strategy, email marketing, SMS marketing, and building customer relationships through campaigns and flows. A typical day involves weekly client meetings, planning campaigns, providing assets for paid ads, and ensuring email and SMS messaging executes as scheduled. She has helped over 100 e-commerce businesses generate more than $15 million in additional revenue. Her educational background includes a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, studies at Tuck Business School through its minority business program, completion of the Tori Burch Fellowship Program, and a cybersecurity program yielding Security Plus and Network+ certifications. She is also a Klaviyo partner and an OmniSim partner. As a veteran who served in the United States Army, she volunteers as a volleyball coach and supports the Muhammad Schools of Atlanta, a 501c3 nonprofit focused on education for children in Atlanta, Georgia.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Pamela

01What do you attribute your success to?

My faith, believing in something bigger than myself, my dad's example of hard work and integrity, and being surrounded by amazing like-minded entrepreneurs who keep me grounded and hyped up.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Know your industry inside and out. Read physical books about the history of your industry, learn where others failed and how they grew, because the path repeats itself.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be your authentic self and stay true to who you are. Hold on tight to your integrity no matter what, because it will always be questioned. Put on the blinders and focus straight ahead.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Clients want fast results like $100k in one month without putting in the necessary work. As a woman consultant, I constantly have to prove myself and provide endless proof before they trust my recommendations, unlike how they might treat a man.
