What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is simple: be passionate. When you genuinely care about the work you do, it shows in your dedication, your relationships, and the impact you make. Passion fuels perseverance, inspires those around you, and drives you to continuously learn and grow in your career. Embrace every opportunity with enthusiasm, and let your passion guide you toward meaningful and fulfilling work.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is **a lack of funding**. Limited resources can make it difficult to implement new programs, expand services, or invest in innovative solutions. However, this challenge also presents an opportunity to think creatively, prioritize initiatives effectively, and build strong partnerships that maximize impact. Navigating these constraints requires strategic planning, resourcefulness, and a commitment to finding solutions that still deliver meaningful outcomes despite financial limitations.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are **professionalism, empathy, and exceeding expectations**. I believe professionalism sets the foundation for trust and respect in every interaction. Empathy allows me to connect with others, understand their perspectives, and provide meaningful support. And by striving to exceed expectations, I aim not just to meet standards but to deliver results that make a real difference and create lasting impact. These values guide how I approach challenges, collaborate with others, and grow both personally and professionally.
