Pamela Furst is the Senior Manager of the Customer Success Team at Jellyfish, a Boston-based SaaS company specializing in engineering resource management software. Before joining Jellyfish five years ago, Pamela’s career took her through diverse and dynamic fields—from working as an environmental engineer in New York to launching her own women’s athletic apparel business, which she fondly describes as an “expensive hobby.” Her entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity eventually led her to explore opportunities in the tech industry, where she joined a logistics startup and helped shape product development despite limited financial compensation. That experience sparked her passion for technology and customer success, ultimately leading her to Jellyfish, where she convinced the co-founders to take a chance on her skills and vision.
At Jellyfish, Pamela has played a key role in scaling the Customer Success organization, leading initiatives that enhance customer experience and drive adoption of innovative software solutions. Her journey is a testament to perseverance and adaptability—qualities that have helped her navigate transitions across industries and find fulfillment in a field that aligns with her strengths and ambitions. Pamela attributes her professional growth to her determination to find the right career fit and her relentless pursuit of purpose-driven work, noting that her success is built on resilience, curiosity, and the willingness to take bold chances.
While she doesn’t credit a single mentor for shaping her career, Pamela acknowledges the importance of the many people who have offered support, insight, and opportunity at pivotal moments. She continues to pay that forward through her leadership at Jellyfish and her involvement in initiatives like Advancing Women in Tech (AWIT), where she helped launch the DC chapter to empower women in technology. Pamela’s story reflects a blend of technical expertise, entrepreneurial drive, and an unwavering belief in personal growth through persistence and passion.
