Pamela Furst is a technology and customer success leader who specializes in helping organizations translate complex products into clear customer outcomes.

As Senior Manager of Customer Success at Jellyfish, she focuses on aligning product adoption with business impact—building the programs, insights, and operating frameworks that help enterprise customers realize the full value of engineering intelligence platforms. Her work sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and customer experience, enabling high-growth SaaS companies to scale Customer Success while delivering measurable results for their customers.

Pamela’s career began in environmental engineering, where she spent more than 15 years managing large-scale infrastructure and environmental projects. That experience shaped her approach to leadership today: solving complex problems, navigating ambiguity, and bringing structure to fast-moving environments.

Outside of her work in technology, Pamela has long been drawn to building. She founded ellasport, a women’s athletic apparel brand inspired by her experience as a triathlete and cycling instructor, and is currently developing Vara, a concept focused on intelligent wardrobe decision-making for busy professional women.

Across each chapter of her career, Pamela has been motivated by the same instinct—to build thoughtful solutions that help people navigate complexity with greater clarity and confidence.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute much of my success to a deep curiosity and a strong internal drive to build and improve things. I’m naturally drawn to complex problems, and I’ve always been willing to put in the work to figure them out. Along the way, I’ve also been fortunate to learn from talented colleagues and leaders who challenged my thinking and helped me grow.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received was that the person you choose as your spouse is one of the most important career decisions you’ll make. I’ve experienced both sides of that, and it’s incredibly meaningful to have a partner who truly sees you as an equal and values your professional ambitions. My husband and I approach both work and home as shared responsibilities, which creates the space for both of us to pursue meaningful careers. I know many women don’t always have that level of partnership, and it can make a real difference in their ability to grow professionally. When children see two parents who respect each other’s work and support one another’s ambitions, it sets a powerful example of what partnership and leadership can look like.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don’t wait until you feel fully ready before taking on bigger challenges. Some of the most important opportunities in my career came from stepping into roles or projects where I had to learn quickly and figure things out along the way. Curiosity, persistence, and a willingness to take initiative often matter more than having every answer upfront.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

With the rapid pace of AI and engineering innovation, organizations are adopting new technologies faster than ever. The challenge is ensuring those tools actually translate into meaningful improvements in how teams work and deliver value. This creates a significant opportunity for Customer Success leaders to play a more strategic role—helping organizations align technology adoption with business goals and measurable outcomes.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value integrity and curiosity deeply. I’m drawn to people who are reliable, ambitious, and thoughtful in how they approach their work. I also care deeply about building things that create a real, positive impact—ellasport was especially meaningful to me because it helped women feel more confident in their own bodies. Both professionally and personally, I try to approach life with a mindset of continuous growth and improvement.
