Pamela Heron

I have dedicated 17 years and 1 month to the field of risk management, spending my entire career with the Ventura County Office of Education until January 2025. My expertise is in workers' compensation, property and liability claims, managing insurance contracts, safety protocols, and ergonomic evaluations. I have always focused on providing overall customer service to school administrators and employees throughout the Ventura County area. What I'm most proud of in my career is my work in reducing workers' compensation claims and protecting the organization by implementing comprehensive safety protocols. I am actively involved in professional leadership, serving as a steering committee member for PARMA (Public Area Risk Management Association), where I previously held the positions of chair and co-chair. I also maintain membership in CASBO (California Association of School Business Officials).
