Pamela emphasizes the importance of treating every employee with respect and dignity, guiding employers to avoid assumptions and instead approach situations with curiosity. She maintains her HRCI credentials through continuing education and advises professionals to take things as they come without making assumptions while remaining open to alternate solutions. 01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The greatest piece of advice I have received is to take things as they come. Do not make assumptions and be open to alternate solutions.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell her to advocate for herself. I would tell her that she does belong in the room. And I would tell her that she brings more to the table than she thinks she does.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I believe that every employee deserves to be treated with respect and dignity and that it is important for employers not to make assumptions. Instead, be curious.
