Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to one guiding principle that has shaped my 25-year career: people come first. I started in customer service, where patience, empathy, and attentive listening were my greatest tools, and over time, I grew into roles in quality and performance management, strategy development, and visual storytelling. Throughout my journey, integrity has been my anchor. Whether coaching teams, shaping organizational culture, or driving performance, my focus has always been the same: understanding the “why” behind the work and helping others see it too.

One of the accomplishments I’m most proud of is helping bring a coaching platform to life at T-Mobile. What began as a vision for transparent, consistent coaching evolved into a fully digitized system enriched by actionable data—data that enabled leaders to make more informed decisions and better support their teams. Witnessing that transformation in real time reaffirmed my belief that technology, when applied thoughtfully, enhances human connections rather than replacing them.

My commitment to growth extends well beyond the workplace. I’ve earned a bachelor’s degree in business management, a master’s in human resources, and an MBA, and at one point even explored real estate licensing. Continuous learning—whether through MasterClasses, new tools, or expanding my thinking—has consistently shaped the leader I am today. More recently, my curiosity has led me to explore AI and how technology can simplify life while enhancing well-being. This passion inspired my latest project, Blow Through It: both a lifestyle brand and an AI-driven chatbot platform designed to help people navigate life’s challenges with resilience, grace, and a touch of humor. I aim to launch it before Christmas, as a gift to anyone seeking a moment of clarity or encouragement.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to embrace the fact that your career path won’t always be linear. View pivots not as setbacks, but as opportunities to discover new strengths and passions. As long as you understand the “why” behind your decisions and follow what truly excites you, you’ll know you’re on the right path.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field come from navigating evolving roles and responsibilities. Transitioning from customer service to quality management, and later to strategy and coaching, has required developing new skills and embracing fresh ways of thinking. Implementing a fully digital coaching platform at T-Mobile was a significant test of balancing technology with people, leveraging data effectively, and ensuring leaders embraced the change while maintaining the human connection. Additionally, advocating for accessibility and inclusion within corporate networks remains both challenging and rewarding, demanding persistence, diplomacy, and the courage to challenge long-standing norms.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Being a lifelong learner has always been central to my personal and professional growth—I’ve embraced every opportunity to expand my knowledge, from MasterClasses to new tools and experiences. Advocacy has also been a defining value in my journey. For the past seven years, I’ve been actively involved in a disability-focused diversity and inclusion network, collaborating with others who believe accessibility is not optional—it’s essential. That work has shaped my understanding of true inclusion and shown me the profound impact of empowering underrepresented voices to lead.
