Her Interview
Ten minutes with Pamela
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to divine guidance, the timely interventions and referrals from trusted professional acquaintances who believed in me at the right moments, and the confidence I built through my entrepreneurial and sales background. These combined forces have shaped the foundation of everything I've accomplished.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
A professional friend guided me into new roles at two pivotal turning points in my career — first into nursing home admissions and later into senior placement — and I credit those moments with defining the trajectory of my professional life. That guidance opened doors I may never have found on my own.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Keep your practice pure and always put expert guidance and the family's needs above everything else. Do not chase numbers or let business pressures compromise your ethics. When you serve families with integrity and genuine care, the success will follow naturally.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges I see is the ongoing industry restructuring and downsizing that tends to favor those with clinical degrees, which can leave skilled non-clinical professionals in a vulnerable position. At the same time, I see a tremendous opportunity in mentoring and training the next generation of senior placement professionals — helping them build careers grounded in integrity and a true service-first mindset.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity is at the core of everything I do. Beyond that, I am deeply committed to service — to genuinely helping others, not just professionally but personally as well. Faith and divine guidance keep me grounded, and I place great importance on maintaining a healthy work-life balance so that I can continue showing up fully for the families I serve.
