Pamela Vargas

I am a management consultant and M&A professional with a strong background in IT carve-out execution, transformation management, and cross-functional project delivery, currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Nota Consulting LLC, a role I have held since February 2025, where I work in a hybrid capacity from Alexandria, Virginia. In this role, I have coordinated the IT carve-out of a PE-backed global energy company, supporting TSA execution by managing application migrations, infrastructure separation, and end-user transitions, resolved over one thousand ServiceNow tickets, produced reports to analyze IT issues, and facilitated communications and project meetings. I manage project timelines, stakeholder communication, and executive reporting across multiple initiatives, create and deliver executive SteerCo presentations to C-suite stakeholders, helped stand up Deal Desk cadence and Transformation Management Office, designed end-to-end Quote-to-Agreement process maps, developed and executed communication strategies, and built HubSpot dashboards and workflows to enhance pipeline visibility and support data-driven sales and marketing decisions.

Prior to this role, I served as a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst at AIG for over two years, where I created and maintained tracking reports using Excel and Salesforce to monitor interactions with brokers, buyers, and legal partners, reviewed financial statements and legal documents, used Excel and SAP to monitor premium payments and generate bi-weekly financial summaries, conducted background research on potential clients and stakeholders, assisted underwriters in risk assessments, took detailed meeting notes, and acted as a communication liaison with brokers to facilitate M&A insurance processes.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Smith College.
