Her Interview
Ten minutes with Paola
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to never taking no for an answer and always keeping going, growing, and escalating. I worked with a gold medalist who said never is a no, and there is always something else you can learn even when you feel on top.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Never give up, and never feel jealous for other people. Instead take that as motivation to become stronger and do it much better but by your own style. Your personality always has to come first.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Always have bigger dreams because if you have the capability to imagine it is because you can make it true. The potential is when you're creating in your own brain, and even though you think it's harder, if you can imagine, you can make it true.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
There is a lot of competition and AI is taking over but it's also a big tool. People are used to virtual meetings not in person which removes warm conversation but makes it accessible for people not close by in different states or countries, which can be taken as opportunity. Being a woman it's hard to face outside the business but we have different ways to approach.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Being yourself, saying the truth since the beginning not giving wrong expectations, talking with the truth, and also loyalty.
