About Parul
Parul Joshi is a Senior Product Manager with five years of experience in her current role and a decade of experience in the technology industry. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science and began her career in engineering and software development before transitioning into product management with the encouragement of a mentor.
In her current role, Parul defines product vision and roadmaps, gathers customer insights, translates business needs into detailed requirements, leads cross-functional teams across engineering, design, QA, marketing, sales, and other functions, manages stakeholders, and oversees product execution and success metrics. Earlier in her career, she launched a mobile health application that achieved rapid and significant user adoption. She is passionate about encouraging young women in technology to build confidence, believe in their abilities, and pursue their goals with perseverance and hard work.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of curiosity, perseverance, and a willingness to keep learning. My background in engineering and software development gave me a strong technical foundation, while my experience in product management taught me the importance of listening to customers, collaborating across teams, and turning complex problems into meaningful solutions. I have also benefited from supportive mentors and colleagues who challenged and encouraged me along the way. Most importantly, I believe in taking ownership, embracing challenges, and consistently putting in the effort to grow.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is not to wait until I feel completely ready to pursue an opportunity. Growth often comes from stepping outside your comfort zone, being willing to learn, and trusting that your skills and experience will develop along the way. That advice encouraged me to transition from engineering into product management and continues to guide me today.
