Patricia Dyal, MM, BS is a dedicated Public Health and Case Management Leader whose career spans over a decade of advancing maternal and child health, community wellness, and healthcare system modernization. As Maternal Child Health Supervisor for Rock Island County, she leads several essential programs, including WIC, the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program, and Case Management initiatives, ensuring these services meet community needs and public health objectives. Trisha’s expertise extends to program and grant management, team leadership, and process improvement—areas where her results-driven approach has produced measurable outcomes in operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and staff development.
With a Bachelor of Science in Medical Case Management (2018) and a Master of Management (2020) from Davenport University, Trisha blends clinical insight with strong administrative acumen. Her background includes roles in public health education, administrative leadership, and healthcare information management, earning her recognition such as Employee of the Month for the State of Michigan. A natural mentor and collaborator, she has successfully guided team members into leadership roles and led transformative modernization efforts within her department—bringing renewed efficiency to programs that had not been updated in decades.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Trisha is deeply committed to community service and education. She serves as an Adjunct ESL Instructor at Blackhawk College and is an active member of the Quad Cities HEARTSafe Coalition, where she promotes Hands-Only CPR awareness. A former Certified Nursing Assistant with seven years of experience caring for Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients, she remains driven by compassion and a passion for helping others. Growing up in Michigan, she enjoys spending time on the water, reflecting her grounded and resilient nature. For Trisha, her greatest achievement lies in the positive impact she’s made through change—helping organizations and communities move forward with care, innovation, and purpose.

I attribute my success to hard work. My dad always taught me that going the extra mile isn’t optional—it’s simply part of the regular route.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that the battle is not yours. It reminds me to stay focused on what I can control, trust the process, and not let challenges or setbacks define my path.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to be patient and keep pressing forward. Don’t expect instant success or wealth—focus on being in it for the right reasons. Give yourself grace as you learn and grow, and trust that persistence and purpose will take you far.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is helping people let go of old-school ways of thinking and working. Change can be uncomfortable, but guiding others to embrace new approaches creates space for growth, innovation, and lasting success.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important values to me in both my work and personal life are truth, kindness, and integrity. I believe in being honest and transparent, treating others with respect and compassion, and upholding strong moral principles in everything I do.
