Dr. Patricia Larkins Hicks is a nationally recognized strategist, keynote speaker, and leadership advisor who helps organizations achieve measurable results through structural aliegnment and disciplined execution. As the founder of the Outcomes Management Group, she has spent more than 30 yeas helping nonprofit boards, executive leadersm government agencies, and corporatons clarify priorities, strengthen leadership, and align stakeholders around mission-driven outcomes.
Dr. Hicks is the creator of the B.E.S.T. Framework, a leadership and organizational development model designed to help leaders elevate standards, strengthen relationships, and position their organizaions for long-term success. Her work focuses on one central principle. Alignment + Measurement = Accelerated Results.
She is frequently invited to facilitate strategic planning sessions, lead board governance retreats, and deliver keynote presentations that equip leaders with practical tools to strengthen organizational performance and impact. In addition to her consulting work, Dr. Hicks has served in academic leaderhip roles, authored books and publications, and provided leadership training across the United States. Currently, she is developing the B.E.S.T. Impact Navigator, an AI-enabled decision-support platform designed to help leaders and organizations align strategy, leadership, and measurable outcomes.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to faith, discipline, and the wisdom of mentors who challenged me to grow beyond what I thought was possible.
Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to learn from leaders who modeled integrity, excellence, and service. Their guidance helped me develop the courage to pursue meaningful work and the discipline to remain focused on results that truly matter.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received was simple but powerful. Relationships create results. When leaders build authentic relationships based on trust, respect, and shared purpose, doors open, collaboration strengthens, and meaningful progress becomes possible.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Seek out mentors and build strong relationships with people who are willing to challenge and support you.
Mentors can help you navigate complex systems, expand your perspective, and avoid mistakes that slow progress. At the same time, stay curious, keep learning, and remain committed to excellence.
Success rarely happens alone. It grows through relationships, discipline, and a willingness to keep evolving.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is technology. Rapid advancements require constant learning and adaptation, but they also create powerful opportunities to innovate, improve efficiency, and expand impact in ways that were not previously possible.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The value that matters most to me in both my work and personal life is giving my best. I believe in showing up with excellence, integrity, and commitment in everything I do, consistently striving to deliver my highest level of effort and intention.
