What do you attribute your success to?
Hard work, loyalty and determination. I work for the betterment of the team or department.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
To always follow your passion. If you don't love what you do, you will never be happy.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the administrative field is to focus on finding a role that truly excites and motivates you, rather than prioritizing financial gain.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Unfortunately, when working for a large corporation, it is difficult to keep your position with them. Administrative is usually the first to go when it comes to cutbacks.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in my work and personal life are resilience, joy, and family—celebrating life through cooking and karaoke, embracing my disability with confidence, and supporting my daughter’s work as an educator.
