What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a mixture of discipline, strong relationdhip-builing, a deep commitment to to developing people and processes, and courage to take on complext challenges and change. I also credit prior leaders, mentors, and colleagues who have invested their time, guidance, and wisdom in helping me grow and achieve my goals along the way.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
One of the best pieces of advice as a leader from a former leader was: "to truly lead, you must win the hearts and minds of the people you serve." I learned that when people feel valued, respected, and inspired, they choose to follow, not because they have to, but because they want to. Embracing this guidance has shaped the way I have led and has been a cornerstone of my success
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say to begin building key relationships intentionally; and don't wait to be invited into the room, but to prepare yourself to belong there. Additionally, one should invest in learning the business and the technology.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges in insurance/insuretech today center on navigating digital transformation, modernizing legacy systems, leveraging data effectively, managing talent shifts, and meeting rising customer expectations — all while maintaining growth and profitability.
At the same time, the greatest opportunities lie in strategically adopting AI and automation, building data-driven decision cultures, strengthening operational excellence, and leading organizations through change with clarity and empathy.

My core values center on integrity, accountability, and empathy — leading with honesty, taking ownership, and valuing people. I believe in continuous learning, resilience, and courage, embracing growth and navigating challenges with strength and conviction. Collaboration and purpose guide my work, as I strive to make a meaningful impact while maintaining balance and well-being in both my professional and personal life.
