What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to align my responses with my personal values, which has guided me in both professional and personal interactions. I’ve also learned that kindness and honesty are essential qualities that build trust and meaningful relationships. The right opportunities -and decisions- follow when you lead with your values and kindness.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Balancing limited resources with big missions is a challenge, but also an opportunity. I thrive on helping organizations like the CDC and NIH streamline, prioritize, and still deliver meaningful, user-centered solutions.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Continuous learning, equity, and balance. I believe in pushing for innovation while also carving out space for family, creativity, and growth. This balance helps me stay motivated and fulfilled both at work and in life.
