About Paula
Paula Gordon serves as a School Community Facilitator for Newport Mesa Unified School District. She has spent 11 years in this position across two school districts, having begun her career in education as a parent volunteer. Gordon advanced from instructional aide to instructional aide for English learners, where she spent approximately four years, before taking on her current role. She previously worked in the same capacity at Saddleback Unified School District. A high school graduate originally from Acapulco, Mexico, Gordon speaks both English and Spanish. She has received a Certificate of Appreciation for her contributions to her department. Gordon is a member of Calvary Chapel South OC, including its women's Bible study and women's department. Her professional journey reflects a commitment to supporting families from diverse backgrounds and helping them navigate school systems and access resources.
