What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of hard work and confidence, grounded in a genuine care for others. I strive to approach challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset, seeking out opportunities to overcome obstacles effectively. Equally important, I prioritize building strong, collaborative teams, believing that success is amplified when people feel supported and empowered to contribute their best.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received was to “be selfish in your career.” Although it may sound counterintuitive, I took it to mean that my career is mine to design. I have the autonomy to shape it according to my goals, values, and vision, without needing external validation—only the discipline to execute my plan.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to remember that you don’t need to have all the answers—no one does. Speak up, ask questions, and share your perspective. Most importantly, believe in yourself and have confidence in your abilities, because your voice and contributions truly matter.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the most valuable areas of growth in my role is continuing to strengthen my presence in executive-level discussions. These environments require clarity, confidence, and the ability to communicate with impact, and I see each opportunity as a chance to further develop those skills. On the operational side, building and aligning teams to support multi-state terminals and new plant projects presents both complexity and opportunity. Successfully navigating these efforts contributes to both organizational success and continued leadership growth.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me both in my work and personal life are integrity, empathy, and kindness. I strive to act with honesty and ethical responsibility, understand and consider the perspectives of others, and approach every interaction with genuine care and respect.
