What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of hard work and confidence, grounded in a genuine care for others. I strive to approach challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset, seeking out opportunities to overcome obstacles effectively. Equally important, I prioritize building strong, collaborative teams, believing that success is amplified when people feel supported and empowered to contribute their best.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to remember that you don’t need to have all the answers—no one does. Speak up, ask questions, and share your perspective. Most importantly, believe in yourself and have confidence in your abilities, because your voice and contributions truly matter.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges I face is participating in executive meetings, which are often dominated by men. It can be intimidating at times, but it has reinforced the importance of being confident and using my voice. On the operational side, building the right teams to support multi-state terminals and new plant projects is both a challenge and an opportunity. Successfully navigating these projects opens doors for growth, including advancement from director to VP-level roles.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me both in my work and personal life are integrity, empathy, and kindness. I strive to act with honesty and ethical responsibility, understand and consider the perspectives of others, and approach every interaction with genuine care and respect.
