Pauline Williams is an experienced sales and territory management professional with over two decades of experience at Young Supply Co., where she has served as Territorial Manager for Flint, Lansing, and Saginaw since 2003. Her earlier career includes over twenty-seven years in industrial sales at George L. Johnston Co., where she built a strong foundation in B2B sales, client relationships, and territory development. Her career reflects a deep commitment to sales excellence, customer service, and long-term relationship building across the industrial and supply industries. She started as a secretary at a refrigeration HVAC wholesaler, moved to the counter as the first woman in that role, and then into sales, managing accounts for industrial clients like GM and Dow as well as commercial contractors. She covers territories in Saginaw, Flint, and Lansing and has built lasting relationships with customers who have become friends.

01What do you attribute your success to?
Not afraid to try new things. Being a people person.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Back in the day I really didn't have any mentors since it was a new industry for women.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Not to be intimidated. Stand up for what's right. Be honest. Follow up your work in a timely manner.
Keep customers informed on your progress of whatever your working on.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Thirty years ago it was being a woman in HVAC. Not so common. Now there are even women out
in the field. Sky's the limit!
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Always be you. Don't be intimidated. Don't put yourself out there as a woman, be a coworker.
