Pava Leyrer

I am a mortgage industry leader with nearly five decades of experience helping families achieve the dream of homeownership. I currently serve as President of Northern Mortgage, a role I have held since January 2018, where I lead our expansion as a multi-state lender offering conventional and government loan products. At Northern Mortgage, I am proud to be part of a great team that provides financing for the American Dream, and I focus on ensuring that our customers and employees receive the training, support, and service they need to succeed. Integrity and trust are the cornerstones of everything we do, and I am committed to delivering beyond what is expected.

Before becoming President, I served as Chief Operating Officer of Northern Mortgage Services for over three years, where I helped build the operational foundation that supports our continued growth. Prior to that, I owned and operated Heritage National Mortgage for over fourteen years, where I led my own team and built a business rooted in integrity, consumer education, and a passion for helping people navigate the mortgage process.

I have been actively involved in the mortgage industry for over forty-seven years, and I continue to serve as a Committee Member with the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association, a role I have held since April 2015. I am also a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator with NMLS #156049.

Across my career in mortgage lending, my work has been driven by a belief that homeownership changes lives and that the process should be transparent, supportive, and built on trust. Whether I am leading a multi-state lender, mentoring a new loan officer, or advocating for the industry, I remain deeply committed to helping people achieve their financial goals and build a brighter future.
