Pawandeep Narang is a seasoned technology and cybersecurity leader with over 20 years of experience across healthcare, risk management, and digital transformation. Currently serving as Director of Risk and Compliance at Fresenius Medical Care, Pawandeep oversees governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, drives security awareness programs, and fosters a strong security culture across the organization. Her work ensures that healthcare organizations can deliver patient care securely and effectively, leveraging her expertise in information governance, Agile methodologies, and cybersecurity strategy.
Pawandeep began her career in India and has since built a truly global professional portfolio, working across more than ten countries, including a brief role in Singapore, and holding positions at companies such as Amgen. She has led large-scale enterprise projects, including cybersecurity initiatives, M&A integrations, and global system migrations, consistently delivering measurable outcomes while building high-performing, collaborative teams. Recognized with awards like the Amgen CISO Award, she is also actively involved in professional and community organizations, including H-ISAC and corporate Employee Resource Groups, where she has served as chairperson.
A passionate advocate for continuous learning and empowerment, Pawandeep holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Sciences, a postgraduate diploma in Information Technology, and multiple certifications, including Scrum Master, Product Owner, and SAFe Practitioner. She attributes her success to hard work, persistence, and relationship-building, and draws inspiration from her upbringing in India, where her family instilled the values of perseverance, education, and staying true to one’s roots.
