Her Interview
Ten minutes with Payal
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Put myself in the shoes of the audience who I'm talking to and tailor my message to suit the audience. The points remain the same but the way you craft the story can change. This has helped in executive rooms and presenting to uninitiated audiences.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Become the most powerful user of AI that you can be today. Jobs will change significantly. The more active a user you are of AI, the more well-positioned you will be when the time comes to make that pivot.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Control and misuse of AI, especially with open weight models from Asia Pacific that can be downloaded and used without controls, leading to intentional and unintentional misuse while balancing privacy and personal rights.
