About Peg

Peg Jones is an office management, tribunal administration, client services, operations coordination, and performing arts professional with experience in confidentiality, administrative support, legal and paralegal support, event planning, concert coordination, volunteer management, board and committee coordination, contract review, and vocal performance. She currently serves as Office Manager for the Metropolitan Tribunal at the Archdiocese of Dubuque. Her background includes client services with O’Connor, Brooks & Co., operations coordination with Steeple Square and Dubuque Chorale, and long-term work as a freelance vocalist. Peg began her career as a certified nursing assistant and later owned and operated an in-home daycare. She transitioned into extensive volunteer work at her parish, creating new ministry programs, and completed a certificate program through the Archdiocese of St. Paul, Minneapolis, while studying at St. Thomas University seminary. After roles as a youth minister, Director of Worship at both Methodist and Catholic parishes, and a multi-categorical paraeducator, she earned a paralegal degree in civil law in 2015. She then worked as an operations coordinator for two nonprofits before joining an accounting office to strengthen her administrative skills. In her current role, she handles canon law matters including annulment cases and marriage paperwork as an ecclesiastical notary, drawing on her ministry background and mental health crisis certification.
