Pegah Savehshemshaki is a biomedical research consultant, scientific communications professional, and professional model based in Los Angeles, California. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), with additional studies in English and mathematics, graduating Cum Laude. Her interdisciplinary background combines rigorous scientific training, analytical expertise, and creative communication skills, allowing her to bridge the gap between complex biomedical research and accessible scientific storytelling.
Pegah has built a strong career in clinical research, biotechnology, and research consulting. Her experience includes serving as a Research Program Coordinator with the UCLA Clinical and Translational Science Institute Research Associate Program, where she supported clinical studies, managed research data, contributed to scientific publications, and helped advance evidence-based healthcare initiatives. She also worked as a Research Consultant at Tritech Research, supporting biomedical and biopharmaceutical projects, including initiatives related to HIV vaccine development and scientific product innovation. Through her current work with Dyna-Mic, Inc., she applies her expertise in research strategy, technical documentation, scientific communication, and innovation-focused development.
Beyond her scientific career, Pegah has maintained a successful professional modeling career, represented by LA Models and Shockwave Models, with experience spanning editorial, commercial, beauty, and fashion campaigns. She has developed a notable personal brand through creative storytelling, media features, and collaborations with photographers, designers, and global brands. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to determination, hard work, and resilience. I continue to push forward, believe in myself, and never let obstacles stand in the way of achieving my goals and dreams.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to listen to my inner voice, trust my instincts, and be patient with myself. Giving myself grace, treating others with kindness and respect, and striving to make a difference every day have guided me throughout my career.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to embrace who they are, stay open to new ideas, and continue learning and growing. Invest in your education, empower those around you, and bring positivity and encouragement to your team.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in my field is continuing my research to improve scientific methods and develop innovative solutions. Through ongoing learning and discovery, I hope to contribute to making the world a better place.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are resilience, excellence, and helping others grow. I strive to lead by example, mentor and support those around me, and reach out to those in need. No matter the challenges I face, I remain committed to making a positive impact.
