Ten minutes with Peggy
01What do you attribute your success to?
Perhaps this quote by Joseph Pulitzer: "Put it to them briefly, so they'll read it; picturesquely to remember it, and above all else, accurately so it will be guided by its light."
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Always give back! Educate others generosity. Learn to listen carefully.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Professionals are guided by an inner, ethical strength. Use this moral compass during challenging times and never give up!
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The philanthropic landscape has dramatically changed over the past several decades. Giving in the United States has not kept up with inflation. Professional fundraising executives must EARN the right to ask!
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
In my professional and personal life, the most important thing is to understand the value of relationships including friends, family, students, volunteer leaders, executives, and more.
