Her Story
About Peggy
Peggy Thompson is a 2x Author, Advocate, and a Public Speaker. When she was laid off from that position last year, she decided to go all in on her passion for travel, which she had previously explored as a side hustle, and launched her own travel business. She is a planner at heart who values organization and thinking through all pieces of a project, attributes that have helped her be thorough and comprehensive in her work. Looking ahead, she aims to establish her travel business firmly and write a book about pivoting from one career to another while achieving success in both. Through her business she also plans to hold retreats for women at transition points in life to help them move forward, drawing on her own experience. Earlier in her career she participated in temple activities and volunteer activities with her kids as part of community involvement.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I think I'm sort of a planner at heart, and I think that really has helped me move forward, because I'm very organized. I like to plan ahead. Some people really can thrive on spur of the moment. I'm not that way, but I think the planning has really helped me to be more thorough, comprehensive, and just really kind of think through all the different pieces.
