About PENNY

Penny Dunn is an experienced cabinetry and interior design professional with 38 years in the field, having started as a teenager working with her father on flooring installations and later as a design assistant with her mother, a cabinetry specialist. She currently works as Cabinetry Specialist and Regional Director for Multifamily Sales and Development at Richards Building Supply, managing full design projects from inception to completion and procurement of products for both residential and multifamily spaces. Her earlier career included time at Oren Pickel Design and Build, where she specialized in historical design. She holds a bachelor's degree in history and English and a master's degree in writing, teaches college English, and is a published fiction writer who was nominated for an Edgar Award in 2019 for one of the top five mystery novels for teens in the country. She is active in the National Kitchen and Bath Association regional chapter and her local Chamber of Commerce, and supports causes such as Habitat for Humanity through deconstruction and donation initiatives.
