Her Interview

Ten minutes with Perla

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would attribute the success to my immigrant parents. They showed me what it was like to come here with nothing and make something of themselves, and I feel like it is my job to ensure that something comes out of their journey, and efforts.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received is probably to not take no for an answer, and to just show people what you're made of. Because, ultimately, hard work and hard work ethic will lead you to success.
