What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received was to stay open to unexpected opportunities and surround myself with mentors who both challenge and empower me to grow. Mentorship has been a cornerstone of my journey - from studying finance in Italy to joining HP’s 3D Printing division as a Financial Analyst in Spain, where I had the privilege of being guided by an exceptional senior female leader whose support and example profoundly shaped my career and leadership philosophy. One of the most defining milestones in my career came as part of a three-year transformation project within the Personal Systems division, driving a multi-billion-dollar profitability improvement while delivering greater value to customers and continuously innovating to strengthen HP’s competitive position. That experience deepened my belief in the power of innovation, and cross-functional collaboration to create sustainable business impact.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field today is supporting and mentoring young professionals as they navigate an increasingly dynamic and uncertain business environment. Rapid technological change, AI, evolving work models, and shifting expectations require new ways of thinking about career growth and connection. I believe this moment offers an opportunity - to reimagine mentorship as a more intentional, inclusive, and global practice that helps the next generation of finance professionals build confidence, resilience, and purpose in how they lead.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
In both my professional and personal life, I prioritize building meaningful relationships, believing that trust and collaboration are key to growth and impact. I am also committed to giving back, whether through mentoring young girls in coding with the Technovation Girls program or volunteering at the animal shelter in my community. These experiences reinforce the importance of empathy, and creating value beyond immediate business outcomes.
