About Porsha
Porsha Cook is an aviation professional with nearly 15 years of experience, much of it in military aviation supporting executive airlift and mission-critical operations. She currently serves as a flight chief, instructor, and evaluator for flight attendants, overseeing intake, onboarding, training, and readiness for roughly 100 personnel. Her work has included briefing and supporting senior government officials, among them missions involving the Vice President of the United States. She has also served as a trusted augmentee for Presidential Airlift operations and sensitive interagency missions under an active TS/SCI clearance.
Over a 20-year career in the U.S. Air Force, Cook has built a broad foundation in program and project management, operations, quality assurance, and workforce development. Her earlier assignments included managing training and scheduling programs for more than 150 personnel, supervising compliance and readiness records for over 270 personnel in Hawaii, and delivering fitness, lodging, and postal services across the EUCOM and CENTCOM regions. Throughout these roles she improved processes, digitized records, and strengthened reporting accuracy, and she has helped evaluate candidates through multi-day hiring boards and flight chief interviews.
Cook is a dedicated lifelong learner who holds multiple degrees and has made education a core part of her professional development. As a woman succeeding in a male-dominated field, she encourages others to master their subject matter and cultivate a diversified background in order to lead effectively. She is retiring from military service effective November 1 and is open to opportunities in executive flight attendant roles, program management, operations, and training.
