Her Interview
Ten minutes with Prabhjot
01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice would be... You can do it. That's what I had believed in my... for myself. When anything came my way, I... I just believed in myself that I can do it. ... believe in yourself, you can do it.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
At a personal level, even though I have achieved a lot, I find challenging to express it fully... like in the interviews, I... I cut myself... I sell myself short... the growth areas in my field... the opportunities in my field are... are just abundant, but obviously to get those opportunities, that's where I feel the challenge... if you're not able to sell yourself, I think that getting those opportunities becomes difficult for you. I think building some more confidence within me, maybe is a solution.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My... my strongest value that I... sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not good, is empathy, having empathy. ... having empathy is very important to me. That's the kind of leader I am. I'm very empathetic. ... And then the other is be true... do your work? ... If you are... if somebody trusts you with some... something to be delivered, give your best. ... Give your best, be true to yourself... And then empathy.
