About Pranjal
Pranjal Goswami is a public policy professional based in Richmond and Northern Virginia. She studied political science with a concentration in public policy and a minor in economics at Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating in May 2026. Pranjal has experience in public outreach and has focused on state-level health, economic, and welfare policy, areas where she sees direct impact on people's daily lives. Her work includes community engagement for underserved and environmental justice communities through the Jacksonville Urban League, where she coordinated town halls and built trust with historically underserved populations. Most recently, she served as a Research and Data Analyst at VCU's Survey and Evaluation Research Lab, translating technical research into accessible materials and contributing to gun violence prevention projects and the distribution of grants across Virginia, Norfolk, and southern regions to benefit the City of Richmond. Pranjal is a member of the Virginia Commonwealth Center of Public Policy and interned for Delegate Mark Sickles at the Capitol during a legislative session.
