Her Story
About Priya
Priya Sathish owns and operates Priya Spiceworks LLC, a mobile snack cart experience company focused on luxury charcuterie snacks rather than traditional catering. She holds certifications as a food handler and food production manager. Food has always been central to her life, leading her to run a catering business about 20 years ago before pursuing a corporate path. After leaving her corporate role, she returned to her passion for food by launching the snack cart venture, which offers flexibility in menus and experiential events for corporate networking and meetings. She aims to grow the brand in the DFW area as a go-to for such experiences.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Priya
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to finding your passion and keep working on it. You will find success with it someday. You cannot quit on your passion. Just keep doing it in small ways, and one day you will find it, it will take you somewhere.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be too hard on yourself. If you want to really try something, just give it a shot, and yeah, you may win, you may fail, that's fine, but at least you tried it instead of just standing there not trying it. Just go for it, give it a shot, and you will learn.
