Prudence Buabua, MS, MLS (ASCP) is a highly experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist and ASCP-certified Medical Technologist with over 16 years of expertise spanning transfusion medicine, molecular diagnostics, cell therapy, quality control, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and drug development.

Prudence currently serves as a Quality Control Senior Specialist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where she plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, potency, and purity of biotech and cell therapy products. Her transition from diagnostic testing to analytical therapeutics marks a strategic and impactful mid-career pivot.

In addition to her scientific career, Prudence is the founder and driving force behind Prudence Productions, an event planning enterprise dedicated to community empowerment and women’s leadership. She has a proven track record of organizing meaningful events—including International Women’s Day celebrations—and forging strong partnerships with schools, churches, local leaders, and chambers of commerce.
