Ten minutes with Punita

01What do you attribute your success to?

My faith in the Divine and my craving to help others. Since I was a child I always used to help others. I have learned that first you have to help yourself and then only you can help other people. There is a purpose to serve humanity and help mankind.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I never got any career advice to be very honest. Somebody in the sacred space of astrology said that I have those kind of abilities and that I'm meant to help others, so just do not leave it. She told me that you should just go ahead and life will test you in phases, but don't leave the path.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Just don't judge anybody. Be empathetic because a person who's already suffering, they just need empathy from you. They do not need any advice at that particular time. First hear them out because they do not have anyone. Be kind and empathetic.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty and authenticity in relationships. I don't like people who lie. Even if you do not like me or something I did, kindly come and tell it on my face rather than gossiping. Authenticity is very important if you want to have a great foundation for your relationships.
