About Qiana
I started in higher education 21 years ago intending it to be temporary while relocating and relaunching my classical singing career. A friend from undergrad who was Director of Residence Life offered me a job when I visited, and that temporary role revealed my passion for analytical problem-solving in student affairs. I've worked in financial aid, retention planning, enrollment, and consulting with hundreds of universities on stabilization and default prevention. Now I'm completing my doctorate in higher education leadership while consulting with the 238 Foundation on community development projects.
