Her Interview
Ten minutes with Qudsia
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to seeing real poverty when I went back to my roots in Pakistan after 36 years. Seeing people in survival mode with nothing makes me appreciate what I have here and motivates me to keep winning and giving back.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Everybody is a walking dollar sign. Either you're trying to sell something or buy something. We're always running around buying or selling, so everybody's a dollar sign. That helps me sell.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Focus on the bank, get your money right, your car right, your house right. Don't get too busy chasing boyfriends or partying. Put your head down and focus because when you have your money right everything else follows. Pursue education like a PhD too.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
You gotta be ethical all the time and do right. Your word is your bond, you gotta keep your word. And giving back. God put us here for a purpose and we should always be giving back.
