About Quincy

Quincy Bareebe is the Owner and Founder of Royal Home Care and Staffing LLC, a home care and staffing agency that serves assisted living facilities throughout Maryland. Launched in 2019, the company has grown from a team of 80 to nearly 350 employees and has expanded to include Royal Medical Supplies and Royal Assisted Living Inc. Her organizations provide both in-home and out-of-home care, guided by a philosophy of compassionate, wholehearted service from every caregiver.

A native of Uganda, Bareebe moved to the United States in 2010 and built a strong foundation in accounting and finance. She earned an associate degree from Quincy College, a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from Northeastern University, and an MBA from Mount St. Mary's University. Her career includes work as an auditor at KPMG for the state of Massachusetts, a staff accountant role at Bon Secours Health System, and a position as a financial manager overseeing a budget center for the Department of Defense. Following the loss of her father, she took a leap of faith and stepped into entrepreneurship.

Bareebe credits her achievements to her faith and her ongoing growth as a leader, and she is driven by compassion and a commitment to developing others through mentorship. She served on the board of directors of the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation and is a member of the National Association of Black Accountants and the Association of Government Accountants. Dedicated to giving back, she supports local food banks and international charities and is passionate about building a school for children with autism in Africa. In 2026, she sought the Democratic nomination for Maryland's 5th Congressional District, campaigning on affordability, Medicare, and quality healthcare.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Quincy

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success first and foremost to God. I am a God-fearing woman, and I could not have accomplished any of this without my faith. Giving back has also been central to my journey. In addition, I have worked deliberately to grow and teach myself to become a stronger leader, which has benefited the employees I oversee.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have received is not to chase money. Instead, I focus on consistency and on doing my job well, trusting that everything else will fall into place.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I encourage young women to speak with other women who have built similar businesses, as this is critically important. Build a strong network of mentors, a team you can turn to for guidance, ask for help when you need it, and always speak up.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

In my work, I value care and compassion, and I believe people must lead with both. In my personal life, I value leadership, particularly in how I can help build up others.
