01What do you attribute your success to?
My success in business comes from a combination of many fators. Factors such as education and experience, but also relationships I have built over many years working in this industry and a passion for the work that I, and my clients, do. These are the things that keep me motivated to keep working toward new achievenments each and every day. Another factor is my family and a desire to show my children that hard work pays off, you can truly do anything you set your mind to, and that you have the opportunity each and everyday to make a positive imact in the world.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advise I have ever received came from a casual conversation with a friend, and at the time we were not talking about careers, but life in general. She said, "It's not about the work we do, it's about the lives we can change for the better."
This phrase has stuck with me not only in my career but in my eveeryday life. I truly believe that we can make a real impact with the small things we do each and every day.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Your words and actions have power in every room you enter. So, speak confidently and kindly, stand tall and strong, and show your passion for making a difference and the rest will fall into place exactly as it is meant to.
