Ten minutes with Rachael

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women entering education to use their knowledge of the law and special education policies to advocate for each student as an individual, focusing on their unique strengths and needs rather than just their diagnoses.

02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in my work and personal life are trust, connection, and support. I strive to build positive, meaningful relationships with students, parents, and families, ensuring every student feels seen and valued. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature and exploring new places with my family.
