01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice that I have ever received is to listen to your heart. In my path, I've realized that I have always wanted to help people, and now I am doing what I love and I'm going to be able to help people while doing it. Following your heart and fulfilling your dreams is something that you should always follow.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Believe in yourself. There's a lot of trial and error going into events, a lot of adaptability that's needed. Never to give up. To believe in yourself, you will get there. You can do it, it is possible, and you are more than capable. And just to never keep trying.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

There are a lot of opportunities for growth in the events sector. There's a plethora of different diverse things that can be done. There's a lot of untapped resources when it comes to events. Working with those around you and being able to use your resources in the community is something that hasn't really been used to the fullest of its potential. For example, wellness activations where we hire local workout studios to come and sponsor a table.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity is a huge one. Whatever you do, doing it with integrity, and being kind to those around you. Values like integrity, trust, teamwork. Those are huge, and those will be huge in order to further corporate goals and ultimately help others in fields such as healthcare.
