Rachel Harriman is a dedicated legal professional and program coordinator with a passion for both public service and environmental education. Currently, she serves as the Road Scholar Program Coordinator at the Lake Erie Islands Nature and Wildlife Center, where she organizes trips focused on migratory bird species and supports local conservation efforts. Her interest in making complex systems more accessible began during her time in law school, where she earned a Master of Public Administration and a JD, equipping her with a strong foundation in administrative law and public policy.

Over the course of her career, Rachel has demonstrated a commitment to community service and advocacy. She has volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for Cuyahoga County, supporting children and families navigating difficult circumstances. Her professional experience includes serving as a Domestic Relations & Family Law Clerk and working as a judicial intern at the Eighth District Court of Appeals, where she honed her skills in legal research, drafting, and case management. Rachel’s ability to balance a demanding career while contributing meaningfully to volunteer initiatives highlights her dedication and organizational strengths.

Rachel’s academic journey spans from Magnificat High School to Ohio State University and Cleveland State University, including study abroad experiences in Europe and at the University of Oxford. She has held roles as a publication's editor, research assistant in space law, and Lexis Ambassador, reflecting her versatility and analytical skills. With a blend of legal expertise, public administration knowledge, and a deep commitment to service, Rachel continues to make an impact in both her professional and volunteer endeavors, while inspiring others through her advocacy and educational work.
