Her Interview

Ten minutes with Rachel

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would attribute my success, of course to hard work, that is a massive part of it, but I also think I've had a really great network and support system that is supported to me, but also not been afraid to push me. To be high achieving, and so owe a lot of that to the people in my life that helped me get here.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I recently received great advice that was, you only get to say no once. So, if an opportunity is given to you. Basically be open to it is what that means, because if somebody's offering you an opportunity, whether that be big or small. If you pass it over one time, they're not as likely to give it to you again. So, just a sentiment, really, of being open to opportunities, open to networking, open to people, because you never know where it's going to lead. So, always being willing to at least learn more. Instead of just shutting out the opportunity immediately.
