Her Story

About Rachel

Rachel Leonhart is a GTM consultant, business strategist, writer, speaker, and coach with more than 15 years of experience spanning technology, IT operations, marketing operations, and revenue operations. Known as the "Architect of Human Systems," she specializes in helping organizations optimize processes, align people with technology, and build scalable systems that support sustainable growth. Her expertise lies at the intersection of people, process, and technology, enabling businesses to bridge operational gaps and improve performance.

Throughout her career, Rachel has worked with entrepreneurs, agency founders, and growth-stage organizations, helping companies operationalize and systemize their businesses while solving the human challenges that often hinder growth. One of her most notable achievements was supporting a client in scaling from approximately $250,000 in annual revenue to more than $1 million in less than four years. She combines deep analytical capabilities with a strong understanding of organizational dynamics to help leaders create systems that empower teams rather than rely on individual heroics.

Driven by a passion for learning and a commitment to helping others, Rachel built her career through experience, continuous education, and perseverance. Having overcome significant personal challenges as a young single mother raising three children, she credits her success to resilience, lifelong learning, and practical experience. In addition to her consulting work, she writes, speaks, and coaches leaders on systems thinking, burnout prevention, and human-centered organizational design. Her long-term vision includes establishing a nonprofit organization, Women Elevate, dedicated to empowering and uplifting women while creating opportunities to positively impact as many lives as possible.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Rachel

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to perseverance, continuous learning, and the real-world experience I gained through what I often call the "School of Hard Knocks." Coming from a background of instability and raising three children as a single mother, I learned to rely on resilience, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to personal growth. My love of learning, combined with years of hands-on experience across technology, operations, marketing, and revenue functions, enabled me to develop both broad and specialized expertise.

I believe success comes from understanding the intersection of people, processes, and technology and using that knowledge to help others overcome challenges and achieve sustainable growth. My ability to combine analytical thinking with empathy and human-centered problem-solving has allowed me to create meaningful results for clients and organizations.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One of the most impactful pieces of career advice I ever received came through a mentor who shared one of Maya Angelou's quotes with me nearly fifteen years ago: "People won't remember what you say, but they will remember how you made them feel."

That wisdom has shaped my approach to leadership and business. Throughout everything I do, I prioritize relationships, empathy, and creating positive experiences for others because people and human connection are at the heart of lasting success.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I encourage young women to believe in themselves and develop confidence in who they are. I do not believe our worth should be determined by the opinions of others or even by our accomplishments. True confidence comes from understanding who you are and how you show up for yourself throughout your journey.

I believe it is important to recognize your value, trust yourself, and cultivate self-worth. By embracing confidence and remaining authentic, you create the foundation necessary for both personal fulfillment and professional success.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I believe one of the greatest opportunities in my field is helping organizations close the gap between people and technology by designing systems that are sustainable, scalable, and human-centered. Businesses often struggle because they rely too heavily on individuals rather than creating effective operational structures.

There is tremendous opportunity to optimize processes, systemize operations, and solve the human challenges that exist within organizations. By focusing on people, processes, and technology together, organizations can create healthier, more resilient, and higher-performing environments.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity and transparency are foundational values in both my personal and professional life. I believe honesty begins with being truthful with yourself while also extending grace and compassion during difficult moments. I strive to balance grace with grit, recognizing that perseverance and resilience are essential to growth.

I also believe in viewing challenges as opportunities rather than problems. Resilience, self-awareness, and a solution-oriented mindset allow me to recover quickly from setbacks and continue moving forward. Above all, I value integrity, transparency, grace, grit, and the ability to approach every situation with hope and possibility.
