Armed with a BS in Healthcare Administration and MS in Executive Coaching, Rachel masterfully fuses analytical precision with empowering leadership to inspire lasting change. Her passion for community upliftment radiates through volunteer work providing audiobooks to the visually impaired, bolstering local shelters, and advocating fiercely for mental health awareness. As a beacon of compassionate leadership, Rachel’s commitment extends deeply into foster care and adoption; already a grandmother at 47, she courageously chose to adopt preteens—the age group often hardest to place—nurturing them into thriving adults with successful careers of their own, exemplifying her belief in second chances and resilient family bonds.
Living and breathing Nebraska’s “The Good Life,” she rallies communities with high-impact preparedness fairs and emergency response programs, forging unbreakable bonds and resilient futures.
Immersed in Omaha’s electrifying arts, theatre, and music worlds, Rachel loves supporting bold local ventures like Project Be Well (officialprojectbewell.com)—the groundbreaking mental health-focused music label founded by acclaimed rapper King ISO, blending raw artistry with advocacy for well-being.
As a bold, out-of-the-box innovator, she propels Nebraska’s cannabis movement forward through hands-on involvement with PieRx Supply (pierxsupply.com), a premier provider of premium, lab-tested THCA and hemp-derived products shipped directly to customers’ doors nationwide. Deeply committed to expanding access to natural, holistic wellness options, Rachel actively supports Nebraska’s evolving cannabis landscape, including the voter-approved 2024 Initiatives 437 and 438 that legalized medical marijuana possession and established a regulatory commission for safe, in-state access. She champions these efforts amid ongoing advocacy for full implementation, physician protections via bills like LB 933, and even broader constitutional rights for adult use proposed for the 2026 ballot.
Rachel empowers individuals seeking alternative relief, delivering transformative benefits for pain management, restful sleep, and appetite support for chemotherapy patients, all while navigating federal hemp regulations and pushing for progressive change in the Cornhusker State.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to early exposure to accounting—my mother owned an accounting firm—and to sustained hard work. I’ve always felt that this career is “in my blood,” and I’ve built it by consistently showing up, learning, and giving my best every step of the way.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
When young women ask me for advice as they start their careers, I tell them this: show up every day striving to be better than you were yesterday. Growth doesn’t happen overnight—it’s the result of consistent, small improvements over time. Nobody’s perfect, but progress comes from showing up and giving your best every single day.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Right now, one of the biggest challenges in my field is workforce shortages—fewer professionals are entering finance and accounting, which creates talent gaps for growing organizations. At the same time, the post-pandemic workplace has brought new dynamics, with evolving expectations around remote and hybrid work.
Another key focus is building a sustainable corporate culture that supports diverse personality types, learning styles, and leadership approaches. Finally, scaling financial infrastructure is both a challenge and an opportunity: developing systems and processes that can grow alongside expanding companies and multiple brands is essential for long-term success.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me are service, patience, and resilience. Fostering and adopting children from the foster care system taught me the importance of meeting people where they are—lessons I carry into leadership every day. Community involvement is also central to my life; I support local organizations in Omaha and have volunteered in ways that promote dignity and independence. Outside of work, I balance finance with creativity, collecting rare plants and writing musicals for fun.
